Boston-based Waver is made up of long-time musical collaborators Mike Sartor and Dorsey Stone.

From their first performances together at Colgate University  through their years playing live shows in the greater Boston area and, most recently, their release of the 2026 album "Space and Time", Sartor and Stone have built their sound on guitar-driven rock with singer/songwriter roots.

Sartor and Stone began playing together in the late 1990s after meeting as first-year roommates at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York.  From the outset, Waver showcased a unique blend of Sartor's traditional rock songwriting and vocals with Stone's progressive and intricate guitar stylings.  The resulting sound is one of power and intimacy, evoking nostalgia for the pure rock tones of the late 1990s and early 2000s. 

After spending years as regular live act in the Boston-area in the early 2000s, Stone and Sartor parted ways to pursue other professional and personal ambitions. In late 2024, Sartor and Stone reunited with the singular goal of writing and recording a new full-length LP of material faithful to their core sound but reflective of their expanded musical experience.  The resulting product was the 13-track 2026 release "Space and Time", available now for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music and all major streaming platforms.
